These are both very old Traditional Formulas, with a wide range of Patent Liniments and Plasters based from them. Though We believe this is the first time they have been sold as whole herb kits. Both formulas are for external use only, but both are very versatile and have several methods of preparation that work well. Including being made as die da jiu. The herb kits are packaged separately and should not be combined. Each herb kit is enough to make 1/2 gallon of Liniment. Sold Together because we feel they go hand and hand, formula #1 would be used for the first 2-3 Days after an injury and #2 would be used to follow through until the Injury is Healed. The Name Shuang Shang Fang translates as double injury formula(prescription). It refers to both of the Herb Kits Included. We have chosen to simply number the formulas. But once you make your liniment or poultice you can all them crouching blue tiger, hidden red dragon, peacock & phoenix, yin & yang, silver & gold or whatever else you like.
